Laser Facial Treatments - Overview
Broad Band Light / Intense Pulsed Light
Cole Aesthetic Center offers the most advanced and widest variety of BBL/IPL technology, also referred to as photo rejuvenation. We utilize the Sciton BBL (Broad Band Light) System to deliver effective treatments for sun damage, brown spots, facial veins and redness and active acne. You will notice positive changes even after your very first session. Although most people treat the face, neck and chest, all areas of the body can be treated.
Laser Hair Removal
Cole Aesthetic Center can offer you two laser/light systems for hair removal: The Sciton Profile 1064nd: YAG and the Sciton BBL Intense Pulsed Light system. With two lasers to choose from, we will be able to offer you the most effective treatment available for your skin and hair type. All skin colors, including tanned skin, can be treated. You may need anywhere between 5-10 treatments depending on the area of the body and the color of the hair.
Skin Tyte
We offer the Sciton ST Broad Band Light for non-invasive treatment of skin laxity. Our system uses safe infrared light energy and advanced skin cooling technology to comfortably deliver heat below the skin's surface to the dermis for increased tissue tightening and decreased skin laxity. There is no need for topical numbing creams or anesthetic injections. We recommend beginning with a series of 4 treatments spaced every 2-4 weeks apart.
ProFractional
We are pleased to announce the addition of the Sciton ProFractional to our list of skin rejuvenation treatments. The ProFractional laser works at varying depths to ablate skin in "columns," thus generating a collagen renewal response, with faster healing and little down-time. Skin is pre-treated with topical anesthetic, so the patient is very comfortable during the procedure. This is a great stand-alone treatment for deep pores, acne scarring and wrinkles, and can be combined with other laser procedures as part of a treatment plan, depending on the skin condition and desired result.
MicroLaser Peel
The MicroLaser Peel is an effective form of skin rejuvenation that produces dramatic results. We offer these peels from 10–50 microns. This treatment delivers excellent results for poor skin tone, fine lines, wrinkles, and sun-damage. You will experience 2-5 days of redness and peeling with this procedure.
The South Bay Peel
The South Bay Peel is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment that combines a Broad Band Light treatment with a MicroLaser Peel. The Broad Band Light will improve pigmentation, while the MicroLaser Peel will improve the fine lines and overall texture of the skin. You may experience up to a week of redness and peeling with this procedure.
Cole Aesthetic Center Fresh Peel
Our version of a single treatment microdermabrasion, this "Fresh Peel" delivers a mild ablation of the skin at 4-6 microns. This treatment is great for refreshing the look and feel of your skin. You may experience mild redness after your treatment. We may recommend anywhere from 1-4 treatments.
Laser Resurfacing
Laser skin resurfacing is one of the leading cosmetic procedures in the United States, and the development of laser treatment has had a great impact on facial rejuvenation. Laser resurfacing is effective in treating sun-damaged skin, mild acne scarring, age spots and skin discoloration, as well as improving the overall texture of the skin.
The process of laser resurfacing works by emitting a specialized beam of light that passes through the skin at varying depths. This action allows the laser light to ablate (or evaporate) very fine layers of skin, diminishing the look of the wrinkles and other unwanted textures. The older, wrinkled collagen in your skin is remodeled into newer skin: as new cells form in the healing process, the skin becomes smoother and softer.
At Cole Aesthetic Center, we offer two types of lasers for skin resurfacing; the Coherent Ultrapulse CO2 laser, and the Sciton Profile Erbium Laser. Based on your initial consultation with Dr. Cole, together you will determine which would be the best method for you specifically.
